American Horror Story Season 3 [FIRST LOOK]: Actress Jamie Brewer Returns

"American Horror Story" season 3 is officially filming in New Orleans, and another actress who is returning to "Coven" after being featured in season 1 is Jamie Brewer.
In a group of "American Horror Story" season 3 set photos taken by VJ Brendan, Jamie Brewer can be spotted filming a scene with fellow cast members Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe, and Emma Roberts.

As previously reported, "American Horror Story" season 3 has been filming in the French Quarter, and it is the first official sighting of so many cast members at once!
Jamie Brewer can be recognized as the actress who graced "American Horror Story" season 1 as Adelaide "Addie" Langdon, the daughter of Jessica Lange's character.
However, as of now, Brewer's character for "American Horror Story: Coven" is still under wraps.
TV Show Auditions, a website with updated casting and auditions information, provided an article regarding "American Horror Story," which will reportedly film in both Los Angeles and New Orleans.
"'American Horror Story: Coven' will center on a family who moves across country after suffering a tragedy. The theme will be witches and witch hunts."
"Jessica Lange will be playing a 'glamor cat' and will be going at it against Academy Award winner Kathy Bates. Bates will portray a woman who, at the start, is Lange's character's best friend, but will become her worst enemy."
Jessica Lange, who has been with "American Horror Story" since its inception, will play a character named Gwen, while Francis Conroy will play Ruth.
According to Carter, the show is currently seeking actresses to play younger versions of both characters (in their 20's).
"American Horror Story" season 3 will grace FX this October. Stay tuned!

How amazing is Potter as Becky on Glee? She is just as delightful and adorable in person and was so thrilled to be among her peers at the EW shindig. When I asked who she is closest to on set, Lauren told me, "Jane Lynch because we're like this (crosses her fingers to show how tight they are). But I have a crush on Mark Salling, who plays Puck! He's a cutie. I don't think he knows I [feel that way]! There should be a little Puck and Becky romance!" Mark, are you listening?

The first half of American Horror Story‘s Halloween episodes, discussed in EW’s cover story on the FX hit, aired this evening and jolted viewers wtih the shocking death of Adelaide (Jamie Brewer). Struck by a car while trick or treating as a “pretty girl,” Adelaide died despite her mother Contance (Jessica Lange) attempting to carry her body onto the Harmon property.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: I think the biggest shock is that Addy is killed off. Why do that?RYAN MURPHY: Well, I think it was very important to the Jessica Lange character and you’ll see coming up, once her beloved child is taken away, she needs another child in her life, and the question is, Will that be Vivian’s child? And I also love the commentary that the writers came up with that only in death does Jessica Lange and the other characters realize that this girl was beautiful all along and, in fact, a very pretty girl. I love what that says about the world and I thought it was very powerful.

Is Addy definitely gone or will we see her ghost?  No, I think she was dead before she got to the spot (Harmon property).

People have been killed in that house. Possibly a lot of them. The house is also seriously haunted. We know this because people keep telling it to the Harmons, who refuse to leave even when it’s pretty clear everybody is right. In fact, a neighbor girl, Adelaide, flat out says they’re all going to die in the house. (Adelaide is the first person we meet in the pilot. She’s played by a young girl with Down Syndrome. She’s later portrayed by actress Jamie Brewer, who has Down Syndrome. And Glee fans know that Murphy has used two other actresses with Down Syndrome, Lauren Potter and Robin Trocki, in that show. Murphy’s former FX series, Nip/Tuck, had a Season 3 story about a Down Syndrome man – played by Blair Williamson – who wants to have surgery to look more like his parents.  This is obviously a trend, but what its deeper meaning is, who knows). Adelaide’s mother Constance (Jessica Lange, easily the best element of the series) frequently calls Adelaide a “mongoloid,” which is uncomfortable, though Constance is an obviously deranged, mean and certainly dangerous mother.

I am intrigued and at the same time in love with the supporting cast more so than the main stars. How could one not be in love with two-time Academy Award-winning actress Jessica Lange? She plays next-door neighbor and former Southerner, Constance. There is something up with this chick. She has a daughter, Adelaide (Jamie Brewer; Young Adelaide played by Katelyn Reed), with Down Syndrome who she often refers to as a Mongoloid, yet the super laid-back Constance will open a can of whoop-ass on you if she feels you have slighted her kid.
